Powder brows (also known as Ombré brows) are a semi-permanent brow technique designed to give your brows a soft, powdery makeup look - perfect for those who love a more polished finish. The result is a beautifully shaded brow that appears fuller and more defined, while still looking natural.
This technique is ideal for all skin types, especially oily or mature skin, and can be tailored to your desired intensity - whether you prefer a soft shadow effect or more definition.
Healing time: 4-6 weeks
Results last: 1–3+ years with
recommended touch-ups
Includes:
✅ Custom brow mapping
✅ Tailored pigment selection
✅ Aftercare kit + instructions
Perfect for anyone wanting to wake up with perfect brows - no makeup required!
You will have a consultation before we start your treatment to discuss expectations, realistic goals, colour and shapes. A eyebrow template/pre draw is drawn in makeup for review and once you and Kaylie are both happy, the chosen pigment shade is infused using a tiny needle into the dermal layer of skin.
Immediately after the treatment, the colour will be more intense and sharp. This will subside and soften during the days/weeks healing.
This will vary from each individual. The fading process is heavily influenced by environmental factors such as sun/UV, strong facial treatments (retinol and AHA Acids) along with your skin type and lifestyle. Generally your PMU brows will need a top up around 12-14 months to keep them fresh from your first initial treatment with an optional touch up just 4-6 weeks after initial healing has passed. But if you left them, the brows will gradually get lighter until they disappear around 2-5 years.
We work through the eyebrow hair to keep the eyebrows looking as natural as possible. We may need to remove some strays outside the shape with your consent which can be maintained by regular waxing or threading to keep desired shape. We cannot colour the brow hairs so you may need to use a light brow makeup to colour the hair in. Alternatively, if it's minimal like a couple grey hairs, best to just pluck them out.
The brows will look as if makeup has been applied and may look darker and more intense with possible slight redness which will appear as the skin has been abraded but this will all settle over the next few days. Let's say, you can still go down the street straight after your appointment.
Full aftercare will be provided on completion of the treatment and verbally explained.
